Jack Burke

A leader at Penn State Behrend for more than two decades, Jack Burke has served as head of the college since March 2003.

Burke, who came to the college in 1981, served Behrend as senior associate provost and senior associate dean, and later as interim provost and dean.

Previously, he was associate dean at the State University of New York's Empire State College, where he was awarded the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching.
