Research Opportunities 

At Penn State Behrend, faculty members are expected to be both recognized researchers and excellent teachers. 

Faculty members in electrical, computer, and software engineering contribute to the start-of-the-art in their respective fields, regularly publishing research findings in nationally recognized, peer-reviewed journals and conferences.

We offer undergraduate students the opportunity to participate in research projects. Our faculty members include undergraduate students in their research projects, seeking out talented students to work with.

Many of our honors students participate in these research projects, applying the results for their Honors Thesis.
