International Travel

International Travel - China International travel is an important aspect of today global economy. Modern engineers need to have the knowledge and savvy to navigate through customs, ticket counters, and security checks.

Germany 2004

China 2002
In October of 2002, 38 students traveled to mainland China to the cities of Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong. The purpose of the trip was to interact with the students from Shanghai JIAO TONG University, tour the Tyco AYP Shunde Facility, and to experience Chinese cultural heritage.

Germany 2001
After the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001 a handful of students and faculty traveled to the largest plastics show in the world, this show is held every three years in Duesseldorf, Germany. The newest technologies in the plastic arena are exhibited in this Forum.

Egypt 2000
In the year 2000, 28 students traveled to Egypt to attend PLASTEX 2000 in Cairo. It was the largest trade show in the region.
