International Travel

International Travel - China International travel is an important aspect of today's global economy. Modern engineers need to have the knowledge of not only how to navigate through customs, ticket counters, and security checks, but also to understand different cultures. For many students, these trips can be "eye opening" experiences that will be remembered for years to come. The trips are generally arranged around a large international plastics related trade shows. After the show, extra activities and side trips are included to expose the students to regional cultural and historical sites. Past trips have included:

  • 2009-2010 - Germany and Switzerland
  • 2008/2009 - Sweden
  • 2007/2008 - Spain and Portugal
  • 2006/2007 - Germany
  • 2005/2006 - Sweden and Denmark
  • 2004/2005 - France and Italy
  • 2003/2004 - Germany
  • 2002/2003 - Ireland
  • 2001/2002 - China
  • 2000/2001 - Germany
  • 1999/2000 - Egypt
  • 1998/1999 - Australia
  • 1997/1998 - Germany
  • 1996/1997 - China
  • 1995/1996 - England
  • 1994/1995 - Germany
  • 1993/1994 - France
