Welcome to the School of Engineering at Penn State Behrend.

We have over forty faculty and ten staff members to serve the more than 1,100 students enrolled in seven undergraduate majors. We offer majors in engineering (computer, electrical, mechanical and software engineering) and engineering technology (electrical and computer, mechanical and plastics engineering technology). All of this is provided in state-of-the-art facilities that are outfitted with modern equipment. 

We have a new home in the Research and Economic Development Center where we are co-located with the Sam and Irene Black School of Business. This is a very exciting time in our School's history as we move into the fantastic new facility and develop our partnership with the Black School of Business. We strongly believe in developing technically excellent engineering students who have exposure to business and are ready for the work environment.
We pride ourselves on a high-touch, high-quality educational experience. Our faculty members come from excellent schools and most of them have significant industrial experience. They are committed to a vision and mission of integrated scholarship in teaching, research, and service. Our staff members have many years of experience and are ready to help.
