• Conduct energy-monitor studies to quantify industrial process efficiencies.
• Apply new and emerging technologies to lower the energy costs associated with high-energy consumption industrial processes.
• Transfer energy-saving technologies to industrial sponsors to enhance their profitability and to create and sustain their employment.
• Invent new innovative, patentable, energy-efficient technologies and products for the industrial, power generation, and transportation marketplace.
• Spin off new businesses to manufacture the innovative products and retain these companies within the state.
