Graduate schools attended by Communication graduates include Carnegie Mellon University, Northwestern University, Indiana University, Louisiana State University, Penn State University, Purdue University, University of Pittsburgh, University of Toledo, and Washington State University. Internships Penn State Erie strongly encourages students to complete at least one internship as part of their studies. Internships offer useful real-life work experience, an opportunity to "try out" a profession without commitment, a chance to make professional contacts, and a place to begin building a resume.
