Do you like working with people and presenting new and creative ideas? Do you appreciate the value of well-crafted words? Do you welcome the challenge of working with new computer and video technology? Then consider the Communication and Media Studies major at Penn State Erie.
This program prepares you for a career in corporate communications, journalism, public relations and advertising, broadcasting and video production, and a host of other business and professional fields.
You'll apply what you learn in the classroom as a writer, editor, or photographer for The Behrend Beacon, the college's weekly student newspaper. Or, learn videography, video editing, and composing visual presentations in one of our state-of-the-art digital editing suites.
