Do you like working with people and presenting new and creative ideas? Do you appreciate the value of well-crafted words? Do you welcome the challenge of working with new computer and video technology? Then consider the Communication major at Penn State Erie.

This program prepares you for a career in corporate communications, journalism, public relations and advertising, broadcasting and video production, and a host of other business and professional fields.

You'll apply what you learn in the classroom as a writer, editor, or photographer for The Behrend Beacon, the college's weekly student newspaper. Or, learn videography, video editing, and composing visual presentations in one of our state-of-the-art digital editing suites.
