- Relational Aggression: What are the correlates of relational aggression? How does it relate to girls' normative beliefs about aggression?
- Mentoring in the Schools: Currently, I am working with local middle and intermediate schools in developing year-long mentoring programs. Trained college students serve as mentors. Programs include both individual and group mentoring. Evaluative components are included.
- Curriculum development for relational aggression: Currently, I am working to integrate the research relating to relational aggression with actual school experience to develop effective intervention techniques to reduce relational aggression.
- Program Evaluation: An on-going evaluation is being conducted to assess the effectiveness of The Ophelia Project, a local community organization reconnecting families and enhancing female adolescent development.
- Young Children's Social Cognition: I am particularly interested in examining how young children's cognitive processes relate to their socio-emotional functioning.
