In a 2000 survey, the Bureau found median salaries to be $44,180 for environmental scientists, $55,410 for hydrologists, and $56,230 for geologists. The Bureau projects job growth for teachers at the secondary level will grow by 10 percent to 20 percent. The median salary for teachers in 2000 was $37,610 to $42,080. |
