Registration and Payment
There are two ways to register for College for Kids.
ON-LINE REGISTRATION provides a convenient and easy method to
quickly register your child/children for classes.
To register on-line, payment must be made with either a VISA or
MasterCard. To access the on-line registration link
CLICK HERE. If you are registering on-line you will receive a
class confirmation by e-mail immediately after you register. Please
note that if you register on-line you will need to print and complete the
Medical Release
form. Additionally, if you are registering for a class that uses a
computer lab (see notations on class schedules) you will also need to print and complete the
Computer Access form. Please return both the medical and
computer access forms to the address listed below. For security
reasons we cannot accept faxed registration forms.

MANUAL REGISTRATION is for those families without computer
access or those who prefer to pay with a personal check, cash, or
money order. A registration form is included in the College for Kids
brochure and may also be printed from the forms menu to the left. Paper registration forms may be duplicated for registering
multiple children. To receive the brochure direct to your door,
please join
our mailing list. If payment is made by check or money order,
please make payable to Penn State University. If you wish to pay by
credit card and do not have access to the on-line system, please
call 898-6212 and we will gladly help you process your registration.
All classes will be billed in full if using a credit card. For
security reasons we cannot accept faxed registration forms.
Medical Authorization and Release Form
All students must have medical insurance
coverage to attend this program. Please note that your registration is
not complete until your payment, registration, and medical information
have been received. If you are
registering on-line you must print
and complete the
Medical Release
form, and mail to the address listed
above for your
registration to be complete. No physical exam is required.
Computer Access Accounts Usage Policy and Form
Penn State policy states that anyone who will be using the
University's computer labs must have a Computer Access Account. Parents or
guardians are required to complete the
Computer
Access form to
establish this account. If your child is attending a class which indicates
See
Computer Access Accounts, you must additionally print and complete this form and
mail to the address listed above (along with the 'Medical Authorization and
Release' form) for your registration to be complete.
Waiting Lists for Full
Classes
In an attempt to keep our classes small they
fill up quickly. If you register through the mail and the class you
have selected is full, you will
be contacted to either be placed on the waiting list or given the
opportunity to select an alternative class. If you register on-line and your class
selection indicates "full or not available", please email
Mary
Trott to be placed on a
waiting list pending an available class opening.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
The University may cancel or postpone any
course or activity because of insufficient enrollment or other
unforeseen circumstances. If a program is cancelled or postponed, the
University will refund registration fees but cannot be held
responsible for any other related costs, charges, or expenses.
If for any reason a parent or guardian must
cancel a child's class registration, the cancellation must be
received in writing by the College for Kids program coordinator at
least ten days in advance of the class. The cancellation will then be
processed by Penn State and a refund will be available to the parent in
approximately four weeks. If payment was made by credit card a refund will be
made within seven working days. If a cancellation is requested after
the class begins a refund cannot be made. If the parent cancels
within the ten-day period a $25 fee will be assessed.
Access
Penn State encourages qualified
individuals with disabilities to participate in its programs and activities.
If you anticipate needing special accommodations or have questions about the
physical access provided, please contact the program coordinator at
814-898-6212 a minimum of seven days prior to the beginning of your camp.
