Multi-Cultural Alumni

We want you back!

Behrend is a special place and it remains special because of alumni like you.  The vibrant students that come to Behrend make it what it is today.  This summer we are celebrating the 60th anniversary of the college and to add to the celebration we are planning a special, warm welcome to our multi-cultural alumni.  As alumni from various parts of the country and the world you have been the wondrous thread that runs through the Penn State fabric.

Remember when the Association of Black Collegians (ABC) was established?  ABC set foundation that is now a ten multi-ethnic student organization group called the Multi-Cultural Council (MCC).   Housed in the Multi-cultural Resource Center, some of you recent graduates certainly know the strong impact that MCC organizations have had on campus.  We look forward to having the opportunity for you to meet some of its current leaders and see how their vision and perspectives compare those you had when you were here.

This is a family oriented weekend that includes horse-drawn wagon rides, winery tours, Midnight Bingo, campus tours, alumni softball games, golf, Penn State Creamery ice cream, and much more.  We’re even working on a Salsa class to work off your dinner on Saturday!
