The Society "opened shop" to sell the world famous Berkey Creamery
ice cream to raise the funds for the scholarship. The Society represented Penn State by selling pints of ice cream during Erie's summer festival "Celebrate Erie," and also sold half gallons to alumni and friends via a mailing brochure earlier in the summer.
