Baseball's David Koerbel Named AMCC Pitcher of the Week
The Penn
State Behrend junior pitcher David Koerbel (Pittsburgh/Central Catholic) was
selected as the AMCC Pitcher of the Week for April 7.
Koerbel threw a complete game in Behrend's first game of the double header
against Penn State Altoona this past Saturday. Koerbel had 10 strike outs,
allowed just 4 hits, and only walked one batter in Behrend's 2-0 victory
over Penn State Altoona. He remains undefeated in conference play and
has recorded 42 strike outs so far this season.
This was the second time Koerbel was named conference pitcher of the week 2008 season.
