Baseball's Ben Cain Named AMCC Pitcher of the Week

Cain (Venetia/Peters Township) was awarded AMCC pitcher of the week honors
for the week of April 14.
Cain had an outstanding week for the Behrend Lions, recording three wins in short relief for the club that improved to 20-4 overall and remained undefeated in conference play. Cain recorded two conference wins against Lake Erie and one non-conference win against Bethany. Ben did not give up a run in 5.2 total innings of play and also recorded 4 strikeouts.
This was the first time Cain has received the honor this year. The blue and white can be seen in action on Saturday, April 19 at the Behrend Field as they take on La Roche College. The double header is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
