Women's Cross Country Team Sixth in Region The women's cross country team was ranked sixth for the second consecutive week in the Mideast Region Cross Country Coaches Poll. The team first gained regional recognition after finishing second out of 13 teams at the Allegheny Invitational. The ranked Behrend Lions then traveled to the Dickinson Invitational on October 4 where they finished sixth in a field of 36 teams. The team followed with another outstanding finish October 11 at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational when they finished second out of 15 teams. Next the team will travel to the Robert Wesleyan Invitational, which will serve as their final tune-up for the AMCC Championships. The championship meet will be held at Pitt-Bradford on November 1.
