Ruffo Named AMCC Runner of the Week (10/03/05)
Behrend’s Brad Ruffo (West Middlesex/West Middlesex) has been named
Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) runner of the week. The
junior has been a leader for the Behrend Lions as he finished 3 out of 225
runners at the Dickinson Long-Short Course Invitational, covering the 8K
course in 26:40.
Ruffo, an all-conference performer in 2004, has been the top runner for Behrend in all three competitions this season. He previously finished first at the Westminster Invitational and eighth at the Behrend Invitational. Ruffo has also improved his time in each race so far this fall.
The blue and white next compete on Saturday, October 8 when they travel to compete at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational.
