Bailey Named AMCC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Penn State Behrend's Jenny Bailey (Corry/Corry) was named the AMCC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week on October 9.  The sophomore was the first AMCC runner to cross the finish line at the Dickinson Invitational on October 7.  Bailey finished the race with a time of 24:14 good for placing 23 of 84 runners.

This is her second selection this fall as AMCC runner of the week, as she also captured the honor on September 11.  Bailey has been the top women's finisher for the blue and white in all three races so far this season, placing fourth in the Westminster Invitational and eighth in the Behrend Invitational.

The Behrend women finished eleventh out of 17 teams competing at Dickison.  The team is back in action on October 14 when they will compete at the Roberts Wesleyan Invitational.  That meet will be the final tune-up before the AMCC Championships are held on October 28 at Lake Erie.
