Behrend Lions Women's
Cross Country Named as an All-Academic Team
The
United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA)
recently released the list of all-academic teams for the 2007 fall
season. The Penn State Behrend Lions made the all-academic
rankings with a team G.P.A. of 3.47 for the 2007 fall semester.
Across the country 390 schools sponsor women's cross country in the
NCAA at the Division III level alone. This year 141 schools
received the Division III academic team honor by achieving a team
G.P.A. of 3.10 or better. The 141 women's cross country
academic team honors handed out for 2007 is an increase of 29 teams
from the previous season.
