Men's Basketball Team in NCAA Top-50 in Statistical Categories

The Penn State Behrend men’s basketball team appears in the NCAA Division III top-50 in several statistical categories.  The blue and white are ranked nineteenth in scoring defense, giving up a mere 61.4 points per game.  Additionally, Behrend outscores their opponents by an average of 10.8 points per game, thirty-sixth in the country. 

Behrend's highest ranking is in field-goal percentage, where coach Niland has his team shooting 51.4 percent from the floor, ranking them ninth in the nation.  The team also appears in the categories of rebounds per game (40.1), field-goal percentage defense (39.5 %), and rebounding margin (+ 7.2). 

Behrend continues to remain atop their AMCC conference in a number of statistical categories as well.  The men are tops in scoring defense (61.4), scoring margin (+ 10.8), field-goal percentage (.514), and rebounding margin (+ 7.2).

The men travel to Hilbert Tuesday, February 7 for a 8:00 p.m. game.  After that they travel to Pitt-Bradford on Saturday, February 11 before returning home for a televised match-up against La Roche.
