Behrend's Buczynski Named AMCC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

State Behrend men's basketball player Kevin Buczynski (Erie/Villa Maria) was
named AMCC Men's Basketball Player of the Week on December 4. The
junior had two big games last week to help the blue and white capture two
conference victories.
Buczynski scored 23 points to go along with eight rebounds in a home win
over Mount Aloysius. Last year's AMCC Player of the Year then went on
the road to Frostburg State and put up 26 points with four rebounds to lead
Behrend to a win over the Bobcats. Buczynski currently leads the blue
and white in scoring (17.8 ppg), rebounding (6.6 rpg), and field goal
percentage (.545).
Behrend has begun the season with a 3-2 overall record, and a 2-0 mark in
conference play. Men's basketball is next in action on December 6 when
they travel to Hilbert for an 8:00 p.m. AMCC contest.
