Buczynski Again Named AMCC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

State Behrend men's basketball player Kevin Buczynski (Erie/Villa Maria) was
named AMCC Men's Basketball Player of the Week on January 2. This is
Buczynski's second selection this season as he was also honored on December
4.
Buczynski led the Behrend Lions to a 1-1
showing at the Land of Magic Classic December 28 and 29 in Daytona Beach,
Florida. The junior averaged 17.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 blocks
for the tournament. Buczynski's big night came in the win over St. John's
(MN) on December 29. Last season's AMCC Player of the Year scored 23
points, grabbed five boards and blocked four shots in the 64-59 win.
Buczynski is averaging 17 points and six rebounds per game this season.
Behrend returns to conference play with a 6-4 overall mark and a 4-0 record
in the AMCC. The blue and white travel to Penn State Altoona on
January 6 for a 4:00 p.m. contest in Adler Gym.
