Behrend's Kaschauer Named AMCC Softball Player of the Week

softball standout Nikki Kaschauer (South Park/South Park) was named AMCC
Softball Player of the Week on April 30. This is the first player of
the week honor for Kaschauer this season.
The sophomore had a huge week at the plate for the blue and white, leading
the team to a 4-0 record to close out conference play. Kaschauer went
8-for-12 (.667) with three extra base hits on the week, including a double,
a triple, and a home run. She also scored seven runs to go along with
three RBIs.
Kaschauer has been performing at a high level all season and currently leads
the AMCC in batting average (.477), hits (52), RBIs (33), and total bases
(72).
Behrend will play a first-round AMCC tournament game on Friday, May 4 at
10:00 a.m. at North Allegheny High School. #3 seed Behrend will battle
#6 seed Lake Erie in a single-elimination game for the chance to advance in
the AMCC Tournament May 4-6 hosted by #1 La Roche.
