Watterson Named Enterprise RENT-A-CAR Athlete of the Week
Freshman
distance swimmer Terrance Watterson (Pittsburgh/Brentwood) has been
named the Enterprise RENT-A-CAR athlete of the week for the week of November
24, 2008.
Watterson helped the Behrend Lions to a 115-110 win over Frostburg State on
Saturday, November 22. Watterson took the 1000 yard free and took
second in the 500 free. Watterson finished the 1000 yard free in
11:27.87 while taking 5:35.59 to complete the 500 free. With the win the
blue and white move to 2-2-1 on the year.
The blue and white will have some time off before they participate in the Fredonia Blue Devil Invitational on December 5-7. The Blue Devil Invitational will be the final meet before the Behrend Lions are off for winter break. The blue and white will travel to Largo, FL from January 1-9 to take part in winter training and will be back in the Junker Center pool on January 10, when they take on the Edinboro Fighting Scots at 1:00 p.m.
