Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Fall to Nazareth

The Penn State Behrend men's and women's swimming and diving team dropped a dual meet to Nazareth on Friday, November 18 held at Behrend's Junker Center Pool. The men fell 119-65 score, while the women were defeated 114-53.

The individual standout on the men's side was sophomore Dustin Fairchild (Corry/Corry) who captured three events including the men's 200 yard freestyle, men's 500 yard freestyle, and men's 100 yard breaststroke events.  For the women, sophomore Cyndi Morales (Mexico City, Mexico/Universidad del Valle de Mexico) produced a first place finish in the women's 500 yard freestyle event, while sophomore Missy Pilewski (Cranesville/Villa Maria) and freshman Erin Emrich (Churchville, NY/Churchville-Chili) claimed the top two spots in the women's 100 yard breaststroke.

The Behrend Lions return to the pool on Saturday, when they visit Pitt-Bradford for a 1:00 p.m. meet.  The blue and white then travel to a meet at Eastern Michigan on December 2-3 before returning home December 8 when they host cross-town rival Gannon.
