Fairchild Breaks Three-Year Old Men's Swimming Record

Sophomore swimming sensation Dustin Fairchild (Corry/Corry) improved on an already great start to his second season on the team Saturday, December 3, when he broke the 1650 freestyle school record.  The three-year old record was previously held by Jeff Howard, who set it in February of 2003.

"Dustin had a very successful meet for this point in the season. I am pleased with his performances, especially breaking the school record in the mile.  It is only the second time he has ever swam that event! That is so exciting!, said head coach Jen Wallace.

The men's and women's swim team hosts Gannon on Thursday, December 8.
