Penn State Behrend's Sara Breese (West Springfield/Northwestern) was named the AMCC Women's Diver of the Week on December 4.  Breese broke her own team record in the 50 free with a time of 26.17 and earned a third place finish at the Fredonia Blue Devil Invitational this past weekend. 

Breese also placed fifth in the 100 breaststroke and 100 free.  The sophomore competed on relay teams that finished fourth in 400 medley relay, 400 free relay, and 800 free relay, and also fifth in the 200 free relay.  This was the first AMCC Swimmer of the Week honor for Breese this season.

The blue and white are currently 3-2 on the season and are off until January 12 when Behrend travels to Mount Union for a 6:00 p.m. meet.  On January 13 Behrend hosts Edinboro at 1:00 p.m. in the Junker Center pool.
