Behrend's Fairchild Named AMCC Men's Swimmer of the Week

State Behrend's Dustin Fairchild (Corry/Corry) was named AMCC Men's
Swimmer of the Week on January 15.
On Friday, January 12 at Mount Union, he was part of the winning 400
medley relay with a time of 3:50.19. He also won both his
individual events, the 500 freestyle (5:14.68) and the 200
breaststroke with a time of 2:15.96.
Fairchild finished off the weekend placing first in two of his three
individual events against a tough Edinboro team on Saturday January
13. He won the 500 freestyle in a time of 5:05.38 along with the
100 breaststroke in 1:02.65.
The Behrend men are 4-3 overall and sit in second place in the AMCC.
The men and women remain at home for their next meet on January 20.
The contest will feature three AMCC teams in Behrend, Penn State
Altoona, and Frostburg State and is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
