Penn State Behrend's Wilson Named AMCC Swimmer of the Week

State Behrend sophomore swimmer Danielle Wilson (Pittsburgh/ Plum) snagged
AMCC Swimmer of the Week honors for the week of January 28.
Wilson finished first in 2 individual events winning the 1000 free with a
personal best time of 11:38.85 and the 500 free with a time of 5:45.60.
Wilson was also a member of the 400 free relay which also placed first.
“I’m really excited for Danielle” said Coach Wallace. “It is an honor she
deserves. She has been working very hard and has had a few excellent swim
meets in the recent weeks.”
Swimming and Diving will be welcoming Pitt Bradford and Grove City to the
Junker Center Pool on February 1. The events will begin at 5:00 p.m.
