Allison Mudrey Named Women's Tennis Player of the Week (9/12/05)
Behrend's Allison Mudrey (Hermitage/Hickory) has been named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) women's tennis player of the week. The 2004 AMMC Player of the Year began the season in great form, going 2-0 in singles and 4-1 in doubles both as the #1.
"This is a nice league honor," said head coach Jeff Barger. "She is the most talented player that we have had at Behrend."
The tennis squad continues their season at home with an AMCC match against Chatham on Friday, September 16 at 4:00 p.m. The Behrend Lions look to improve on their 5-2 record.
