Behrend Tennis Prepares for AMCC Tournament

The Behrend Lions men's tennis team will head to the Oxford Athletic Club in Wexford, PA on Sunday, April 23 for the AMCC tournament.  Coach Jeff Barger has three men seeded number-one in their respective flights.  "I think we should be able to contend for the title," said Coach Barger.  "We have been playing better lately and we have spent a lot of time on our mental games."

Miles Boyea (St. Vincent, WI/Upper Canada) will represent the blue and white as the number-one seed in the men's number-one singles.  Trevor Dougherty (Meadville/Meadville) will be seeded number-one in the number-five singles, and will also team up with partner Jim Palmer (Sharon/Sharon) as the top-seeded team for number-one doubles.

Behrend ended the AMCC regular season at 3-3.
