Mudrey Selected as AMCC Tennis Player of the Week (09-25-06)

A Penn State Behrend women's tennis player was named AMCC Tennis Player of the Week for the second consecutive week as Allison Mudrey (Hermitage/Hickory) received the honor on September 25.  The junior was dominating, winning all four matches at #1 singles and all four at #2 doubles for the week.

Behrend rolled over Fredonia and Westminster, before dismissing Penn State Altoona twice during the past week.  Mudrey, the 2005 AMCC Women's Tennis Player of the Year, has been leading the blue and white on the courts this season.  Women's tennis is now 12-0 overall and 4-0 in AMCC play.

The Behrend Lions are the 2-time defending AMCC Champions and are next in action when they host Chatham on Saturday, September 30 at 1:00 p.m.
