Behrend's Nagel Named AMCC Men's Tennis Player of the Week

State Behrend's Brad Nagel (West Alexander/McGuffey) was named the
AMCC Men's Tennis Player of the Week on March 19. This is the
first player of the week selection of the 2007 season in the AMCC.
Men's tennis most recently competed in Hilton Head, South Carolina
over spring break. The blue and white played seven matches
March 11-16 while on the trip.
Nagel went 2-2 in singles competition and 3-2 in doubles competition
while on the trip. The freshman has been a bright spot for the
Behrend Lions who have started the season with a 2-11 record against
some tough squads.
Men's tennis begins conference competition at 12:00 p.m. on March 24
against visiting Pitt-Greensburg. The following day the blue
and white host defending AMCC champion Penn State Altoona at 1:00
p.m.
