Blackstone Named AMCC Men's Tennis Player of the Week

State Behrend's Elliot Blackstone (Wexford/Pine Richland) was named
the AMCC Men's Tennis Player of the Week for March 17. The Penn State Behrend Lions
men's tennis team went 2-4 over spring break in competition at
Hilton Head, South Carolina. Blackstone went 5-1 in singles
matches and added three more wins over the week in doubles play.
Blackstone picked up singles action wins against University of
Charleston, Northwestern of Minnesota, Defiance, Eastern Nazarene,
and West Liberty. The freshman teamed with John Henderson (Upper St. Clair/Upper St.
Clair) for doubles wins against University of Charleston, Defiance,
and Eastern Nazarene. This is the first AMCC tennis player of
the week award for Blackstone.
The blue and white return to action in a home match against AMCC
opponent Pitt-Greensburg on March 25. The match is scheduled
for 5:00 p.m.
