Rock Invitational The unfavorable conditions did not deter McKinney and Rock from placing first and second respectively in the men's triple jump on Saturday, March 25. McKinney, who placed second in the preliminaries, took the event with a 44' 02.25" leap in the finals. Rock came in right behind McKinney at 43' 05.25". Also for the men, Dennis Scheuer (McKean/General McLane) won the men's 400 meter hurdles, finishing in 58.12 seconds. For the women, Jenny Bailey and Sarah Patterson (Erie/McDowell) dominated the women's 5000 meter run. Bailey (19:19.20) and Patterson (19:32.77) were the only two women to complete the race in under 20 minutes. Leisl Soergel out sprinted the competition in the women's 800 meter dash, finishing in 2:28.33. The versatile Lauren Kremm (Greenville/Greenville) chalked up three top-ten performances in the long jump, 100 meter dash, and 200 meter dash.
