Behrend Volleyball Sweeps Buffalo State
Penn State Behrend volleyball made quick work of Buffalo State on Tuesday night, winning in three straight games 30-19, 30-20, 30-17. With the win, Behrend improves to 8-6 on the year.
Junior outside hitter Lisa Wagner (Laurel/New Castle) led the attack slamming 11 kills while tallying 13 digs. Senior setter Amanda Evans (Upper St. Clair/Upper St. Clair) who was named AMCC volleyball player of the week on Monday, dished out 32 assists to go along with eight digs and seven kills. Freshman defensive specialist Brittany Hennessy (Hopewell/Hopewell) added 13 digs and three service aces.
The blue and white hit the road this weekend for a tournament September 23 and 24 at Lycoming College. Behrend Volleyball will return home Thursday, September 29 when they face Grove City at 7 p.m.
