Gleditsch, Kustra Qualify for All-Academic Teams

Chris Gleditsch (Dublin, OH/Dublin) and Brian Kustra (Westmoreland/Norwin) have been named to the Collegiate Water Polo Association and American Water Polo Coaches Association All-Academic teams.  Both players fell into the superior bracket of the awards, which stipulates that the player be a starter, major contributor, and have between a 3.41 and 3.70 GPA.

Along with academic success both players had successful years in the pool.  Gleditsch, a sophomore history major and defender, had 11 goals, 6 assists, and 26 steals, and was voted by his teammates as the Herb Lauffer Sportsmanship/Leadership Award winner.  Kustra is a freshman driver majoring in electrical engineering.  He managed to score 3 goals and pass out 3 assists in his rookie campaign.  Both players will look to return next fall and continue their athletic and academic success.
