Behrend Polo Opens 2005 Home Schedule Against Mercyhurst
The Penn State Behrend men’s water polo team plays its home opener in the Junker Pool on Wednesday, September 14 against Mercyhurst College. This will be the eighth match of the season for the men, who just recently got back from the Redlands Tournament in Redlands, California, where they went 1-3, beating Cal Tech. The team looks to start off strong at home after going 1-6 in their first seven matches.
Mercyhurst comes into the match with a 1-2 record after recently competing in a tournament in Princeton, New Jersey. Behrend will see Mercyhurst again on October 13 this time on the road. Last year the two teams split their season matches, with Behrend taking the second one 11-4 on Senior Day.
