Water Polo Individuals Make National Rankings

The final individual national rankings for the men's water polo season have come out, and had multiple Behrend representatives.  Anthony Spoto (Birmingham, MI/Birmingham) finished 23rd in the country in scoring, averaging 2.4 goals per game.  Spoto had 56 goals in just 23 games.  Sophomore Andre Pranckevicius (Miami, FL/Miami Beach) also made the list, averaging 1.7 goals per game.  His 38 goals in 22 games was good enough to put him at 51st on the list. 
Both of coach Joe Tristan's goalkeepers made the national list for saves.  Junior Leandro Azevedo (San Clemente, CA/San Clemente) recorded 152 saves in 12.5 games, putting him at 21st in the country on the saves list.  Azevedo's average of 12.2 saves per game was tops in the country.  Tristan's other goalie, freshman Conor Powers (San Clemente, CA/San Clemente) saved a total of 106 shots in 10.5 games, putting him at 30th in the country
