Gannon Turns it Up in Second Half to Put Away Behrend Lions

Behrend men's water polo fought tough, but fell in a 17-7 match Friday, September 29.  With the loss, Behrend is now 0-8 on the season.  The Gannon Golden Knights improve to 4-7.

The match stayed close through the first half, as junior Anthony Spoto (Birmingham, MI/Seaholm) rang up three early goals.  Behrend went into the break down just 6-4.

The second half was all Golden Knights, as Charles Doane for Gannon put together an eight-goal game to help Gannon outscore Behrend 11-3 in the second half.

The men will be back in the Junker pool tomorrow night, Saturday, September 30 as they will welcome the Washington and Jefferson Presidents.
