Senior Holly Greiner Sets All-Time Scoring Record in Behrend Victory

The Behrend women's soccer team improved their AMCC record to 5-0-1 on Tuesday, October 11 with a 5-0 victory over conference rival Pitt-Bradford.  The women improved to 9-2-2 overall and remain atop the conference.

Senior Holly Greiner (McKean/General McLane) led the way with two goals, the second of which moved her into first on the all-time goals list at Behrend.  With her seventh goal of the season, Greiner passed Laura Furko, who played at Behrend from 1998-2001.  Greiner currently has 35 goals with five regular season games still left in her Behrend carrer.

Also getting into the action Tuesday was Kara Struski (Meadville/Meadville) who had two assists, as well as Michelle Newland (Glenshaw/Fox Chapel), Nikki Frisbee (Valencia/Mars), and Beth Manganaro (Pittsburgh/Chartiers Valley) who each had one goal a piece.

The women play again on Saturday, October 15 here at home against Frostburg State, Behrend's last in-conference game at here at Behrend Fields.
