Behrend Midfielder Earns Great Lakes All-Region Status

Penn State Behrend women’s soccer midfielder Nikki Frisbee was elected to the NCAA Division III Great Lakes All-Region Second-Team for her performance this past fall.

Frisbee, who finished the season with eight goals and eight assists was one of only two players from the AMCC to earn the highly selective honor.  Frisbee was a force on both ends of the field and was a vital part of a women's team that finished the season at 14-6-1, won the conference tournament, and made their second ever trip to the NCAA tournament.  Frisbee's 70 shots were tops on the team and included four game-winning goals.

"It's nice to see a Behrend athlete get this level of recognition, said coach O'Driscoll.  We had a successful season in which we won our conference tournament and she was a big part of that success."

Frisbee has completed two seasons at Behrend and is currently tied for eleventh in career goals with 19 and sixth in career assists with 15.
