Frost Picks Up Second AMCC Goalkeeper of the Week Honor

Penn State Behrend's Kayla Frost (Venetia/Peters Township) was once again selected as the AMCC Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week on October 8.

Frost was excellent between the posts for the Behrend Lions.  On October 3 she posted a shutout in a 3-0 win against Lake Erie and was part of another when Behrend cruised past Pitt-Greensburg 3-0 on October 6.  The sophomore now has five shutouts on the season.  She also ranks third in the AMCC in save percentage (.806) and fourth in the conference in total saves with 79 so far in 2007.

This was the second time Frost has been honored as the conference's top goalie, with her other selection coming on September 17.

The Behrend women will try to remain undefeated in the AMCC when they host conference opponent Pitt-Bradford on October 10.  Game time is set for 2:00 p.m. on the Behrend Fields.
