Course and Application Software

Computer Center users have access to application and course software packages on the networked PCs.

Application Software and Manuals

Packages are available for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation, desktop publishing, programming, and more. If you would like to learn an application, you may attend a seminar, use on-line tutorials, or use the Computer Center's step-by-step learning guides (which are available in the documentation rack).

Course-Specific Software and Manuals

Software packages are also available for various courses on the networked PCs. This software is made available by instructors. Generally, this software can be used both by the students in the course and by general users. However, the availability of course specific software may vary depending upon the instructors' needs for that semester or academic year.

Instructors who wish to make software (and the corresponding manuals) available in this manner should contact the manager of IT Support Services and review the Guidelines for Software Installation and Use.
