Classroom Observation Program - Spring 2008 The purpose of Classroom Observation program is to build a faculty learning community where good ideas of teaching are discussed, exchanged, and created across disciplines. It is not meant to evaluate anyone's teaching but is designed to provide a campus-wide, ongoing forum on how to teach more effectively. A program introduction luncheon will be provided by CTET on Tuesday, Jan. 29. All instructors are invited. At this luncheon you will be able to meet with faculty members who offer observation sessions this semester, and be able to identify the classes and teaching styles you wish to observe. Guidelines for pre-observation discussion, taking observation notes, and post-observation discussion will be distributed to participants. From Jan. 14 to 18, you are welcome to observe the following First Day of Class sessions. As a courtesy, please inform the instructor before your visit. Other sessions that are open for observation are listed here NEW. This schedule will be updated on a regular basis and more sessions will be added later on.
