  • Harborcreek Historical Society
    The Society houses historical archives for genealogical research and excellent folios on Harborcreek families, cemeteries, and other history. The Society office includes a reference library and several items such as the cemetery list in quick access format on the computer.

  • Economic Development Corporation of Erie County
    The Economic Development Corporation of Erie County is a private non-profit agency that facilitates the creation of new jobs and wealth by providing technical assistance, financing, and real estate programs to organizations that can be engines for economic growth and community prosperity.

  • CMI EPTI, LLC
    CMI EPTI, LLC is a major supplier of horizontal HRSGs (heat recovery steam generators) to the power industry in North America and internationally. The primary business of CMI EPTI, LLC is the design, supply, and aftermarket services of heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs).

    CMI EPTI, LLC has been in the power and boiler business for over 160 years, tracing its Erie roots back to Presque Isle Foundry, Erie City Iron Works, Zurn Industries' Energy Division, Aalborg Industries, and Erie Power Technologies, Inc. Parent company, CMI Belgium, with over 100 years of boiler and power industry history, is a major supplier of vertical HRSG technology. Through these combined efforts, CMI EPTI, LLC will be capable of supplying power projects in any part of the world.

  • Erie Insurance Group
    Erie Indemnity Company, a management services company, provides sales, underwriting, and policy issuance services to the policyholders of Erie Insurance Exchange in the United States. The company also offers property/casualty insurance, as well as underwrites personal and commercial lines of insurance. Its products in the personal lines of insurance include private passenger automobile and homeowners; and those in the commercial lines of insurance include multi peril, automobile, and workers compensation. The company sells its products through independent agents. As of December 31, 2005, it operated 23 field offices in 11 states and in the District of Columbia in the United States. Erie Indemnity Company was formed in 1925 and is headquartered in Erie, Pennsylvania.

  • Plastics Services Network
    Plastics Services Network was established 1991 in Cooperation with Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. It is a unique organization that offers consulting and testing services to the plastics industry including: part design, process and material selection, material testing, product development, and training.
     
  • Spinworks LLC - “Simplifying Energy Savings”
    Incorporated in 2001, Spinworks provides simplified energy savings to industrial customers with silicon carbide radiant tube inserts called SpyroCors™. The patented, twisted "Y" design enhances radiation and convection heat transfer inside industrial furnaces, thus saving up to 20% in natural gas usage.

    Due to expansion, Spinworks relocated in 2005 from the Fryling Road plant to the Merwin Lane facility, both located in Knowledge Park at Penn State Erie. The new Merwin Lane facility allows the company to house its corporate sales and administrative office, pilot scale manufacturing plant and energy savings research laboratories all in one location. Spinworks anticipates launching its second energy savings product, HeatCor™, in 2006-07.

    The Center for eBusiness and Advanced IT (eBizITPA) is a Ben Franklin Technology Development Authority initiative based at Knowledge Park. It is designed to help Pennsylvania enterprises understand and use information technology and e-business tools to be more competitive and profitable.

  • Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Central and Northern Pennsylvania
    For over twenty years, Ben Franklin Technology Partners CNP has been successful in bringing together representatives from business, industry, and education for the purpose of stimulating economic growth and employment in the Commonwealth. This proud achievement has been the result of our commitment to provide funding and operational assistance to emerging technology-based companies and existing small manufacturers that are developing innovative products/processes or attempting to get into new markets.

  • InDeck Keystone Energy, LLC
    InDeck provides the Keystone Series watertube steam boilers, which are designed with the flexibility to meet special project requirements using InDeck's experience gained from erecting more than 1,000 units. Steam generation is an ideal way to recover waste heat energy from waste gases in a form most easily utilized.

    InDeck is also a supplier of OEM parts and services, e.g. stationary boilers, for Erie City Iron Works, Zurn Industries' Energy Division, and Aalborg Industries, Inc. InDeck also provides comprehensive repair and upgrade capability for many products, including heat recovery steam generators, economizers, air heaters, and preheaters.

  • VertMarkets
    VertMarkets provides industry specific online sales and marketing products and services to small- and medium-sized suppliers. VertMarkets continues to be the leader in e-commerce enablement, with marketplace solutions that attracts and connects buyers and suppliers online through its sixty-eight industry-specific marketplaces.

    Founded in 1980 as "Corry Publishing," Jameson Publishing has grown from a three-person operation to nearly 80 employees in Erie, PA and Wexford, PA. The multimillion-dollar business has seen consistent growth since its inception. The company has grown to include: Four national technology trade magazines published in Erie, PA - Business Solutions, Integrated Solutions, Integrated Solutions for Retailers, and techPARTNER An office in Wexford, PA (north of Pittsburgh) which in early 2009 will launch Life Science Leader, a trade magazine for pharmaceutical and bioresearch executives.

  • The Penn State Behrend Early Learning Center offers high quality child care to children of Penn State students, faculty, staff, alumni, Knowledge Park employees and the Erie community. The program provides preschool and child care services for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years.
