Almost two decades in the making, the Research and Economic Development is not just a new building on a college campus. Initially conceived as an engine for economic growth and development for the entire Northwest Pennsylvania region, it serves as a vital link between the central Penn State Behrend campus and Knowledge Park, the college's 200-acre research and development entity.
