EXPORTING THE AMERICAN DREAM TO THE AXIS OF EVIL
Can the American model of society be transferred abroad? Are the wealth, values, and security Americans enjoy obtainable in other cultures?
These questions and more will provide the basis for "Exporting the American Dream to the Axis of Evil," a panel discussion presented by The Institute on the American Dream at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. The panel discussion will take place Tuesday, November 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the Smith Chapel. The event is free and open to the public, and parking is available at the Junker Center lot.
Charles Brock, director of the Institute on the American Dream, will serve as moderator. Panel participants will be Mary Al-Hasnawi of the Islamic Cultural Center; Dr. Michael Aleprete, lecturer in political science at Penn State Erie, Dr. John Gamble, professor of political science at Penn State Erie; and Dr. Baher Ghosheh of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
