HARBORCREEK TOWNSHIP AND PENN STATE BEHREND WILL HOST OCTOBER 4 FIREWORKS
Area residents are invited to the campus of Penn State Behrend on Saturday, October 4, to enjoy a show of world-famous Zambelli fireworks. The event is sponsored by the Penn State Behrend Student Activity Fee, the Office of Student Affairs, and Harborcreek Township. Fireworks are set to begin at 8:30 p.m. on the Behrend Fields.
"Because it rained on Labor Day, we re-scheduled our planned fireworks to Parents and Families Weekend, October 4, so that our students and their families can enjoy the event. It's a grand celebration of Harborcreek Township's bicentennial and a great addition to parents and Families Weekend," said Chris Rizzo, director of Student Activities. "We are happy to collaborate with the township in a show that area residents will undoubtedly enjoy."
Parking for this event is available on campus, with special assistance for persons with disabilities available at the Logan House parking lot. Guests may wish to bring blanket or lawn chairs. For more information about the fireworks, call 814-898-6171.
