“Musical Tour Across Europe”
Concert Band to Perform Monday, December 4
Take a “Musical Tour Across Europe” at the Penn State Behrend Concert Band’s annual winter performance.
The concert will be held at 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, in the McGarvey Commons of the Reed Union Building. It is free and open to the public.
In keeping with the European theme, selections and composers to be performed include “Amparito Roca” by Jaime Texidor, “Ye Banks and Braes o' Bonnie Doon” by Percy Grainger, Slavonic dances arranged by Elliot DelBorgo, English dances arranged by Malcolm Arnold, “Old Comrades” by Karl Teike, “Pavane and March” by Francis Poulenc, and “Nessun Dorma” by Giacomo Puccini.
