Comedian-actor-writer Jim Gaffigan will appear live at the college’s Junker Center on Friday, December 7. General admission tickets are $30 for the public and $20 for Penn State Behrend students, and are available at the information desk in the college’s Reed Union Building or online.

“Beyond the Pale,” Gaffigan’s three-month Comedy Central Live tour earlier this year, sold out 32 of 38 shows, with second shows added in nine markets. His Penn State Behrend appearance follows four shows in Washington, D.C.

Gaffigan is a frequent guest on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” and is the creative force, co-writer, and voice performer for the show’s Pale Force animated series. He’s had recurring roles on Ellen DeGeneres’ “The Ellen Show,” “That 70s Show,” and “Ed,” and a memorable appearance as Miranda’s boyfriend-without-boundaries on “Sex and the City.” Gaffigan currently is a regular on “My Boys,” TBS’ first original scripted comedy series.

On the big screen, Gaffigan can be seen in the new release “Stephanie Daley,” cult favorite “Super Troopers,” “Trust the Man,” “13 Going on 30,” “Three Kings,” and “Igby Goes Down,” among other movies.

Gaffigan’s Penn State Behrend show is hosted by the college’s Office of Student Activities; for more information or to purchase tickets over the phone with a credit card, contact Student Activities at 814-898-6171.
